In response to SB20-023 and HB22-1274, the School Safety Working Group has been formed and work has begun. This interagency working group of state offices will be inventorying their school safety resources, looking for gaps in services and finding ways to increase transparency so that schools know what resources the state provides.
Committees will be taking a deeper dive into a number of school safety topics. Volunteers are encouraged to reach out, if you would like to help.
